The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has ruled that the All Progressives Congress lacks the locus standi to challenge the nomination of Peter Obi by the Labour Party.
The court ruled that it was a party affair and that the APC had no reason to interfere. It also said it lacked jurisdiction to challenge the matter.
The court faults respondents’ contention challenging Mr Obi’s membership of the Labour Party.
Mr Mohammed says only a political party can determine who its members are, and that no other person or entity can probe into it.
