Benue State Govenror, Samuel Ortom has called on Benue State tribal student union leaderships of the University of Jos to prepare their members to be ready for evacuation tomorrow.
IDOMA VOICE reports that the governor had earlier to move Benue students from the crisis-ridden state.
Confirming the development, Dr. Adakole Elijah, a PDP chieftain, urged the people of the state to thank Governor Ortom and Senator Abba Moro for the timely intervention.
He wrote on his Facebook page thus, “Thank you Governor Ortom, Senator Abba Moro.
“True leaders according to Minority leader, Martin Luther King Jr is known in a moment of crisis.
“This was amply demonstrated today when I got a call from the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Patrick Abba Moro that I should convey the message of His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom to all the Benue State tribal Student union Leaderships of the University of Jos to prepare their members to be ready for evacuation tomorrow.
Help me to thank Mr Governor.
