BREAKING: Policeman killed, Chinese kidnapped as gunmen strike in Ekiti

Unknown gunmen on Friday shot dead a police officer in Ekiti State and abducted an expatriate.

Another expatriate also sustained a gunshot wound in the incident that happened earlier this evening along an inter-town road under construction in Ado Ekiti, the State capital.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Sunday Abutu has confirmed the incident.

He said the police deployed its men to rescue of the abducted expatriate and arrest those who perpetrated the evil act.
