John Oboh, famously known as ‘Mighty Mouse,’ the iconic music creator credited with originating the Ajegunle rhythm in the 1990s, has sadly passed away.
He succumbed to an illness suspected to be cancer earlier today, September 18, in Lagos.
A reliable source close to the family confirmed this unfortunate news to Vanguard.
Efforts to contact Mighty Mouse’s sister, Mabel Oboh, for her response have so far been unsuccessful.
Mighty Mouse was the revered musical figure of Ajegunle City, credited with pioneering the renowned Galala music genre.
