Popular Benue lawyer and human rights activist, Moses Udam has been killed.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that Udam, who is a Managing Partner at Orkar, Udam and Associates (Attorneys and Legal Consultants), was killed alongside his wife, Nkechi, at Agboughul area of Makurdi on his birthday by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
It was gathered that the attackers stormed their residence in the middle of the night while they were fast asleep and slaughtered them.
Recall that Udam had in 2015 contested for Makurdi Local Government Chairmanship seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Also, in 2015, Udam aspired to represent the people of Guma/Makurdi at the Federal house of Representatives but lost out.
Moses is also a part-time pastor.
