President Bola Tinubu Appoints New CEOs for Parastatals and Agencies

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new Chief Executive Officers to head Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy. These appointments were made in accordance with the recommendations of the Honourable Minister, H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola. The newly appointed CEOs are as follows:

Managing Director / CEO, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA): Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji
Executive Secretary / CEO, Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC): Mr. Akutah Pius Ukeyima
Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji brings with him a wealth of experience, having graduated in Banking and Finance and holding Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration. He has more than 28 years of industry experience and has served in the public service, where he played a pivotal role in revitalizing the Osun State Investment Company Limited and later served as the Osun State Commissioner of Finance for eight years.

Mr. Akutah Ukeyima, a graduate of Law with a Master’s degree in Public International Law from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, previously held the position of Head of the Central Authority Unit, International Cooperation in Criminal Matters, Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation.

President Bola Tinubu has tasked the newly appointed CEOs to faithfully execute the policies and programs of the Honourable Minister. Their role is to accelerate the efficient generation of increased revenues and investments in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda’s Blue Economy strategy.
