BREAKING: Protest breaks out in Abuja over hardship in Nigeria

Former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, is currently leading the ‘takeitback’ protest in Abuja.

The protest is against the ongoing killings and hardship in the country.

Protesters, armed with placards bearing various inscriptions, confronted heavily armed police, urging them to relocate to Sambisa Forest if they are tired of Abuja.

This comes despite an earlier warning from the Nigerian police that the protest should be canceled due to security concerns.
