Regina Ogidi, one of the women trapped in Owukpa collapsed building is dead

News reaching IDOMA VOICE from the ancient city of Owukpa has it that one of the women trapped after a residential building collapsed in Ai-Famu, Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State is dead.

A source told our reporter that the victim, whose name was given as Ogidi Regina, gave up the ghost Sunday due to the magnitude of internal injuries she sustained in the disaster.

IDOMA VOICE earlier reported the incident happened during a late-night rain, which was accompanied by a heavy windstorm on Saturday.

The source said Mrs. Ogidi was earlier rushed to St. Mary Catholic Church, Okpoga but was referred to a local bone settler in Ai-Odu where she eventually gave up the ghost.
