On Sunday, a group of Federal Capital Territory residents reportedly engaged in the looting of a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria, citing prevailing economic difficulties across the nation.
The warehouse, located in the Phase 3 Region of Abuja’s FCT area, became a target for looting amid the challenging economic conditions. Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT command, confirmed the incident in a text message, assuring that “The situation is now under control.”
