BREAKING: Samia Suluhu Hassan: Tanzania’s first female president sworn in

Samia Suluhu Hassan has been sworn in as President of Tanzania.

The 61 year old former Vice President becomes the country’s first female president.

She will complete the remainder of the late President John Magufuli’s five year term.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the late Tanzanian leader died of heart attack complications on Wednesday in the country’s largest city, Dar es Salaam.
