BREAKING: Steve Lawani attacked in Ado

The senatorial flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress in Benue South, Steve Lawani, was attacked on his way to campaign in Ado LGA of the state on Monday.

It was gathered that Lawani and his entourage were attacked by unknown angry thugs, who jeered at him.

IDOMA VOICE observed that the attackers warned him not to step his legs on Ado community to campaign.

 

We could not confirm if there was any casualty after the incident.

Reason for their attack is still unknown at the time of this report.

Ado is the country home of Chief Mike Onoja, the SDP senatorial candidate.

Confirming the incident, the Director Social Media of the Lawani team, Barr Akor Ikwuoche, described the incident as a desperation taken too far.

He wrote, “The unwarranted attack on Chief Lawani’s convoy by political thugs in Ado LGA today is desperation taken too far.”
