Suspected herdsmen kill farmer in Owukpa, remove his intestines

Suspected Fulani herdsmen on Wednesday attacked and killed a farmer in Atamaka Ugbugbu, a hamlet in Owukpa, Ogbadibo LGA of Benue State.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the victim was on his way to tap his palmwine when the attackers matcheted him to death.

A source told our reporter that the attackers, after killing him, removed his intestines and abandoned him in the pool of his blood.

Confirming the attack, the Onagene of Ugbugbu, Jagbuba, said the man’s wife had recently delivered a set of twins.

He called on security operatives to come to the aid of his people.
