There is palpable tension in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State as suspected Fulani have issued residents of the area a quit notice.
IDOMA VOICE gathered that the herdsmen asked the villagers to vacate their land within three days or risk being killed.
The message, which is being circulated in the village, has sent tension down the spines of the people.
Recall that suspected herdsmen had recently butchered over 40 people in the state.
Among those killed were kinsmen of the state governor, Samuel Ortom.
At the moment, neither the state government nor security operatives have reacted to the threat message by the herders.
