Tinubu gives El-Rufai, others new appointments (FULL LIST)

President Bola Tinubu has given his nod for the appointment of 18 Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to aid in the execution of the Federal Government’s comprehensive agenda spanning various sectors of the economy. This update was conveyed by Olusola Abiola, the Director of Information at the Office of the Vice President, in a statement released on Monday.

The team comprises six Special Advisers and twelve Senior Special Assistants, who will be stationed in the Vice President’s office to provide essential support for implementing the Tinubu administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

The appointed individuals in the Vice President’s office and their respective roles are as follows:

Special Advisers:

  1. Rukaiya El-Rufai: Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on NEC & Climate Change
  2. Tope Kolade Fasua: Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on Economic Matters
  3. Aliyu Modibbo Umar: Special Adviser (SAD), General Duties
  4. Hakeem Baba Ahmed: Special Adviser (SAD) on Political Matters
  5. Jumoke Oduwole: Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on PEBEC & Investment
  6. Sadiq Wanka: Special Adviser (SAD) to the President on Power Infrastructure

Senior Special Assistants:

  1. Usman Mohammed: Senior Special Assistant to the President on Administration & Office Coordination
  2. Kingsley Stanley Nkwocha: Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Communications
  3. Ishaq Ahmed Ningi: Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital Media & Emergency Management
  4. Peju Adebajo: Senior Special Assistant to the President, Investment & Privatisation
  5. Mohammed Bulama: Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political/Special Duties
  6. Kingsley Uzoma: Senior Special Assistant to the President, Agricbusiness & Productivity Enhancement
  7. Gimba Kakanda: Senior Special Assistant to the President, Research & Analytics
  8. Temitola Adekunle-Johnson: Senior Special Assistant to the President, Job Creation & MSMEs
  9. Nasir Yammama: Senior Special Assistant to the President, Innovation
