BREAKING: Tinubu submits 2025-2027 MTEF/FSP to Senate for approval

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP) to the Senate for consideration and approval.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, read the president’s letter during plenary on Tuesday, November 19. The document was subsequently referred to the Senate Committees on Finance, National Planning, and Economic Affairs for detailed review and further legislative action. The committees are expected to report back to the plenary promptly.

Meanwhile, the South-West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) has commended President Tinubu’s economic reforms, expressing optimism about their positive impact on Nigeria’s economy.
