On Thursday, President Bola Tinubu officially nominated the former governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, and his counterpart from Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, as ministerial candidates.
The much-awaited list of 28 nominees was unveiled by Senate President Goodwill Akpabio during the plenary session.
Femi Gbajabiamila, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, presented the list to the Senate on the same day.
