The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2025 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for private candidates.
In a statement posted on its official X handle on Saturday, WAEC confirmed, “The results of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination for Private Candidates, 2025—First Series, have been released.”
However, some candidates have expressed frustration over difficulties in accessing their results.
A user named Ephrata complained, “I checked mine, and it says my card has been used by another candidate. This is my first time using it. I even bought a new scratch card, and the same thing happened. Please, what’s wrong?”
Another candidate, identified as endowedToBad, said, “My student has not been able to check their Nov/Dec 2024 result till now.”
Similarly, an X user named Bigname reported, “I’m trying to redownload my photo card to check my result pin, but it says registration is not allowed at this time.”
Another user, Trillions, shared a screenshot of the error message received while attempting to check their result online.
WAEC is yet to respond to the complaints, and more updates are expected.
