BREAKING: Why tribunal sacked Gov Uba Sani of Kaduna, declared election inconclusive

The governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Kaduna State has nullified the victory of Governor Uba Sani from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 governorship election.

The tribunal stated that the election was inconclusive and has ordered fresh elections to be held in seven wards across four local government areas in the state.

This decision comes after a petition was filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Isa Ashiru.

The verdict was delivered via a virtual platform, with judges opting for a remote announcement of the decision.
