BREAKING: Why we killed rice farmers in Borno – Boko Haram

Jama at Ahl al-Sunnah li-l-Da awah wa al-Jihad (JAS), the Shekau-led faction of Boko Haram has released a video claiming responsibility for the killing of at least 43 rice farmers in Zabarmari on Saturday, November 28. It also claimed responsibility for the killing of 22 farmers in October.

According to the video, the Islamic Insurgents said it gruesomely murdered the farmers for collaborating with the Nigeria army by arresting its members and handing them over to the military.

This coming less than three weeks after the Nigeria Army launched a fresh manhunt for the factional leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau who has been elusive since 2009.

Eons Intelligence security experts say Shekau has taken refuge in the ISWAP camp and have agreed to form a battlefield alliance against the Nigerian army and regional LCB security forces by end of year and beginning of 2021 (December 2020-January 2021 respectively).
