The Conference of Yoruba lawyers has thrown its weight behind Sunday Adeyemo, otherwise known as Sunday Igboho on his recent call on Fulani to leave Oyo community.
The federal government has called for the arrest of the activist after he allegedly led some youths to eject Fulani from their residences in Igangan, Ibarapa LGA of Oyo State.
The house of the Sarkin Fulani was attacked with 11 cars and several livestock razed.
Addressing newsmen on Sunday, the group said it has lined up 50 Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to stand as legal representatives for Igboho should the police arrest him.
The group tweeted on Sunday night, “Conference of Yoruba lawyers dares Buhari to arrest Sunday Igboho, lines up 50 Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to stand as legal representatives.
“The conference of legal luminaries also mocks Buhari, asks him to go after his criminal Fulani terrorists and not Sunday Igboho, the liberator of his people.”
