BSU strike latest: Ortom reveals when strike would be called off

Benue state university students had an open interactive session with His Excellency the Executive Governor of Benue state His Excellency Dr SAMUEL ORTOM at the old banquet Hall Benue peoples house makurdi Today 28 June 2017 after the botched protest led by Students of the Benue State University concerning the on going Strike by the ASUU BSU chapter.
Speaking on behalf of the students comr Donga Samuel the students Union leader on behalf of Benue state university student pleaded with the state govt to settle with the striking unions ASUU and NASU to call off their strikes,further the students representative made it clear that calling off the strike was paramount to all.

The Governor responded responsibly on the level of deliberations that has been on ground so far, stating that salaries were paid upto date at the state University (BSU)staff.
Also speaking on issue was the chairman heading the striking unions Negotiation committee set by the state govt to address the strike,the SSG to the the Benue state govt prof TONY IJOHO, SAN spoke categorically on the progress so far and assured the students that they must resume back on campus by next week atlist.

The students were accompanied by the National NUBESS president COMR AKASE VERA  along with the SA on students comr Jabi Abraham .
