Buarati/Police IG: Buhari is an unrepentant tyrant – Activist

Deji Adeyanju of the Concerned Nigerians Civil Society Group has described Presdient Muhammadu Buhari, who brainwashed some persons into voting him into power in 2016.

Adeyanu was reacting to the recent happenings in the country.

Buhari had on Thursday extended the tenure of the IG of Police, Adamu Mohammed Abubakar amid calls for his removal.

The president also nominated the immediate past service chiefs as non-career ambassadorial designate.

Their names had since been forwarded to the senate for confirmation, a development many Nigerians believe is a clear attempt to shield from the International Criminal Court probe.

Reacting, Adeyanju said he warned Nigerians in 2015 but couldn’t listen to him.

He voiced his anger thus via a tweet, “The National Assembly under Lawan is dead. They are only useful in granting Buhari loan request.

“There’s nothing Buhari is doing today that I didn’t predict in 2015. His record as an unrepentant tyrant was there for all to see but so many brainwashed clowns were calling him a messiah & shouting CHANGE.

“A situation where a democratically elected president continually violates constitutional provisions of the law can never be accepted. The irony is that we do not have a functional legislature that’s why Buhari gets away with all kinds of atrocities.

“President Buhari is running a regime of lawlessness & impunity. His actions have serious anti-democratic precedents.”
