Buhari decieved us – Bandits reveal why they kill everyday

A top commander of the banditry group terrorizing the North-west zone of the country has revealed the reason for their incessant attacks on communities.

The insurgents said they were deceived by the presidency.

A bandit leader, Halilu Sububu, made the revelation in a chat with Daily Trust from his enclave Sububu forest located between Sabon Gari in Sokoto, and Shinkafi and Maradun in Zamfara states.

The bandit leader who noted that there is no day civilians are not killed in Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna, Sokoto and Katsina States, requested that President Muhammadu Buhari visit them personally for a peace talk.

He also demanded that the Hausa, Yoruba and the Fulani be treated equally.

Sububu said; “It (agreement) has been breached. You have asked for armistice, an agreement was reached but you left that person in a forest with a gun and nothing to substitute.

“What do you expect? How do you want that person to survive? All the promises made to us, none of it was fulfilled.

“Enrol the young ones in school…we should be treated the same way. Give them jobs with the government, put them in schools.

“The President should personally come and preside over the talks. When was campaigning, he traveled all over, why would he not do it now?”

“He (Buhari) does not take these peace talks seriously, and everyday people are being killed”.
