President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to Ebonyi State to inaugurate a number of projects On Thursday
President Muhammadu Buhari will arrive in Abakaliki on a two-day business visit, according to Governor David Umahi’s spokesperson, Francis Nwaze.
The governor mentioned the New Government House, New Governor’s Office, New State Executive Council Chambers, King David University of Medical Sciences, and King David University Twin Flyover as some of the projects that would be commissioned.
Margaret Umahi International Market, International Market Twin Flyover, Uburu-Mpu dualised road, President Muhammadu Buhari 4-way Light Tunnel, and State Shopping Mall are among the other developments to be launched.
“We thank with the sincerest appreciation your fatherly love and support for Ebonyi State, as you do for other States irrespective of their party affiliations, which has made our modest successes possible,” the statement adds.
Governor Umahi urged citizens to greet Buhari while also encouraging them to follow the law during the President’s visit.
Meanwhile, President Buhari met with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, on Tuesday night.
As of the time of posting this article, Anaedoonline.ng learns that the two are meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Although the purpose of the meeting was not disclosed, this online daily thinks it to be related to Tinubu’s presidential campaign in 2023.
Recalls that the APC leader was the first presidential aspirant in the ruling party to consult the sitting president about his political ambition.
