Buhari to confer Idoma-born Prof Ujah with national honor

The President, and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has approved the conferment of the National Honour’s award of OFFICER OF THE ORDER OF THE NIGER (OON) on Professor (Dr.) Innocent A.O. Ujah, mni, FNMA, FNAmed, Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, (FUHSO) Benue State, and immediate past President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).

In a statement made available to the Information, Publications, and Public Relations Unit (IPPRU) of the University, the award is “in recognition of his selfless service to humanity, and excellent high-level productivity to the nation, with great landmark achievements in the various positions he has held”.

It also read that the Investiture Ceremony shall be performed by His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on Tuesday, 11th October, 2022 at the International Conference Centre, ICC, Abuja by 9:00 am prompt.
