Buhari used $322m Abacha loot to fend for 300,000 poor Nigerians – Garba Shehu

The Senior special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Garba Shehu has said that the People’s Democratic Party, PDP is spreading lies against the president, will not wash away it’s corruption.

The presidency said this in a statement on Wednesday evening. According to Shehu, the PDP speaks ill of Buhari’s government, a strategy implored to normalise corruption.

This was in reaction to allegations by the opposition, that president Buhari has looted USD 322m recovered Abacha loot.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has continued spreading lies about the Buhari administration in the mistaken assumption that its toga of corruption will dissipate if it succeeded in black painting every other person as corrupt.

The strategy is to make corruption appear as normative and that everyone is equally involved.

They think by so doing, Nigerians will forgive them for their sins. This is a huge mistake.

The PDP has become an ill-wind on the country today and the elections next year present the citizens an excellent opportunity to save the country from it.
