A new date has been announced for the burial of legendary Idoma music minister, Evang. Peter Otulu.
IDOMA VOICE had earlier reported that the singer’s remains would be committed to mother earth on February 27.
However, the family has announced a new date for the burial.
Speaking exclusively with IDOMA VOICE on Tuesday night, Inalegwu, son of the iconic singer said the burial date had been shifted to March 21-22, 2019.
He said the family regretted every inconveniences caused by the change in plan.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Otulu went the way of all mortals on January 22 in his 70s.
He left behind his ever-supportive wife, Lady Ojoma Otulu and six children, Ojo, Inalegwu, Godwin, Princess Ondugbe and Daniel.
Otulu hailed from Ugboju in Otukpo LGA of Benue State.
His popular songs include: Opechi, Igblenyi Kawanda, Jefta, Oba ml’onya, Ijema, Jisos Jikwu and many others.
