The remains of Dr Chinelo Megafu, one of the victims of the Kaduna-Abuja train, which was attacked by bandits in March 2022 have been laid to rest.
29 years old Dr Chinelo was laid to rest at the Ebony Private Cemetery, Ikoyi, Lagos on Thursday after a requiem service at Shepherdhill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, Lagos.
Chinelo, shortly after she was shot by bandits, went on her Twitter handle to ask for prayer from Nigerians.
Reports claimed that Dr Chinelo had resigned from St. Gerald’s Hospital, Kaduna barely one month and was meant to relocate abroad for a better life before her death.
She graduated from the University of Port Harcourt in 2016. She did her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme at the Kaduna State Dental Centre and worked with St Gerard’s Hospital, Kakuri.
