Burna Boy under fire for wishing ‘Eedris Abdulkareem dead’

Nigerian singer Eedris Abdulkareem has criticized his fellow artist Burna Boy for allegedly expressing a desire for his death.

In response to yet-to-be-released podcast comments by Abdulkareem, Burna Boy reportedly remarked that he does not hold the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner accountable but rather those who contributed money to cover his hospital bills during his kidney transplant in 2022, IDOMA VOICE reports.

Expressing his disappointment via his Instagram page, Abdulkareem stated that Burna Boy’s alleged wish for his death is “truly saddening and very disappointing.”

He described Burna Boy’s purported mockery of his health crisis and blaming those who aided him as “shameful.”

Abdulkareem announced his intention to address the rift through music, stating, “I will reply through the only medium that I have… and that is music.” He revealed plans to release a single titled ‘Essay to Burna Boy’ within a fortnight.
