Caleb University honours T. Pumpy CEO, Akintayo Adaralegbe, others at 13th Convocation ceremony

Caleb University in Imota, Lagos State, on Saturday, bestowed Honorary Doctorate Degrees on Akintayo Adaralegbe, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of T.Pumpy Concept Limited, a leading real estate developer headquartered in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The honour was part of the institution’s 13th Convocation ceremony.

Other awardees include Governor Hycinth Alia of Benue State and the Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun.

Adaralegbe, accompanied by his wife, received the award from the Vice Chancellor during the convocation.

Distinguished personalities present at the event included His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, and Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi of Love of Christ International Church.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after receiving the award, Mr Adaralegbe thanked the school for the recognition.

He said, “I am truly humbled and honoured to receive this prestigious award from Caleb University. My sincere gratitude goes to the university for recognizing the efforts of T.Pumpy Concept Limited and our commitment to excellence in real estate development.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the entire T.Pumpy team. I share this honour with each and every member who has contributed to our success.

“To the Vice Chancellor and the entire university community, thank you for this meaningful acknowledgment.

“It inspires us to continue striving for excellence and making a positive impact in the real estate industry.”

Adaralegbe Akintayo was in Ilorin, Kwara State, and grew to watch his father struggle to raise their living standard as a photographer.

Adaralegbe Akintayo founded T-Pumpy Concepts in 2010, but spent five years acquiring lands and properties in Abuja, before officially opening for business in the Federal Capital Territory in 2015, with three staff.

The company subsequently expanded to two more states; Ekiti and Oyo, and now with a staff strength that runs into hundreds.
