‘Call me evangelist Tonto’ — Actress Tonto Dikeh drops ‘King’ from her title
Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has announced that she will no longer be addressed by her former title “King,” declaring a new spiritual identity following what she described as instructions from the Holy Spirit.
The actress made the announcement in a statement shared at the beginning of March, describing the decision as part of aligning with God’s purpose and prophecy for her life.
According to her, the transition marks a movement away from the past into a new phase defined by faith, peace, authority, and divine direction.
“In obedience to the Holy Spirit, I make this declaration,” she said, adding that the timing coincided with the start of a new month and a renewed spiritual season.
Dikeh stated that she should now be addressed as “Woman of God,” “Evangelist Tonto,” “Tontezuki,” or “Auntie Tontezuki,” stressing that the change reflects her personal spiritual journey.
She also expressed gratitude to supporters who have followed her transformation over the years, describing her experience as a journey “from a mess to a message.”
