Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has declared that calling Nigeria a zoo is not hate speech.
Kanu was reacting to a report that police recently summoned Ifon Development Union leader in Ondo State to Abuja over cows’ death.
Recall that Chief Olufemi Awani, a community leader and President, Ifon Development Union in Ondo State has said some leaders of the community were recently summoned by Force Headquarters over the alleged killing of cows in the area.
He, however, lamented that the police failed to probe the murder of their king.
Reacting, Kanu said the action depicts that Nigeria is a zoom.
He tweeted, “Calling Nigeria a ZOO is not hate speech. If it is, then Nigeria itself is guilty of hate speech when its Police summons people for killing COWS but does nothing when HUMANS are killed.”
