Campaign group reacts to rumours of Stephen Lawani’s death

A campaign group, Chief Stephen Lawani Ochagwu K’IDOMA Youth Wing, has debunked the rumours making the rounds on social media that its principal, Chief Stephen Lawani is dead.

The assured that its principal Chief Lawani who is a top contender for Benue state gubernatorial election 2023, is “healthy and sound”.

In a notice signed by one of the group spokesperson, Comr. Agida Collins Ijachi and shared on social media platform, Facebook, the group urged the public to disregard the rumours.

The notice read; “There is a rumour going around since morning that our leader and top contender for Benue state gubernatorial election 2023, Chief Stephen Lawani is dead.

We his youth wing urges the good people of Benue state and the entire society to disregard any rumour of such for our leader chief Stephen Lawani is healthy and sound in his present condition.

We still advice those behind this rumour to deviate from any mere political tools to bring your political opponent down,for death is inevitable.”
