Candidates emerge as APC Lagos primaries progress across LGAs, LCDAs

The ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship primaries in Lagos State have continued to produce candidates across several Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), with results now declared in at least 10 council areas.

The process, which has been largely peaceful and well-coordinated, has seen both consensus arrangements and competitive elections across the state.

Among the LCDAs that earlier produced consensus candidates are:

Iba LCDA – Isa Jubreel

Oto-Awori LCDA – Azeez Kareem

Ijede LCDA – Motunrayo Gbadebo

Lekki LCDA – Hassan Kasali

In other LGAs and LCDAs where voting has concluded and results confirmed, the following aspirants have emerged victorious:

Ifako-Ijaiye – Prince Akanbi Hamzat

Ojokoro LCDA – Rosiji Oluyemisi

Kosofe LGA – Barr. Moyo Ogunlewe

Ifelodun LCDA – Olúfémi Àkànbí Ọ̀kẹ́owó

Ajeromi-Ifelodun LGA – Hon. Olamilekan Akindipe

Surulere LGA – Hon. Suliamon Yusuf

Coker/Aguda LCDA – Hon. Ogidan Owolabi Azeez

Ejigbo LCDA – Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo

Agboyi-Ketu LCDA – Adetola Oyedele Abubakar

Lagos Island East LCDA – Muibi Alade Folawiyo

Ojo LGA – Rufai Muyibat

Lagos Island LGA – Taiwo Oyekan Oyekan

Eti-Osa East – Samson Agunbiade

Badagry LGA – Babatunde Hunpe

Epe LGA – Surah Animashaun
