Car rams into residential building, kills baby in Calabar

The vehicle in the photo below killed a baby boy of 1year and two month when it crashed into a residential building.

This accident happened yesterday at Gregory Effiong Street off old Odukpani road Ikot ANSA Calabar. This sad news was shared on social media by Jimmy Obem.

The baby and his mother were at home when this terrible accident happened. He was killed right in his father’s house. The mother is still unconscious and never knew his 1-year-old son is gone.

An eye witness at the Nigerian Navy hospital Calabar Mr Okpaku Ifeanyichukwu Joel said ” I cried yesterday when they were brought to the Nigerian Navy hospital Calabar. Lord please console this woman (mother of the child) and the entire family. It was a terrible accident”.

From the photo below you can see the plastic used in bathing the little baby boy on the car. Up till now, no one knew what happened to the car and why it crashed in the building killing the baby boy instantly in his father’s room.
