The Catholic Diocese of Otukpo has formally announced the death of Rev Fr Ambrose Ameh Ejeh.
IDOMA VOICE reports that Rev Fr Ejeh died during the weekend at the of 61.
Rev. Fr. Joseph Aboyi ltodo Chancellor, Catholic Diocese of Otukpo in a statement confirmed the sad incident in a statement issued on Sunday.
The statement reads below;
“Greetings of peace and love of Christ.
“It is with a heavy heart that I write on behalf of the Bishop Most Rev Michael Ekwoyi Apochi, to notify you of the sudden death of our brother, Rev. Fr. Dr. Ambrose Ameh Ejeh.
“He died yesterday, September 2, 2023, in Makurdi.
“Fr. Ambrose was born on January 14, 1962, was ordained a priest on July 14, 1990.
“Until his death, he was an Associate Professor of Philosophical Theology and Ethics in Benue State University, Makurdi.
“The funeral arrangements will be communicated to you in due course.
“May we kindly offer masses and pray for the eternal repose of his soul and for God’s consolation on the biological family and the Catholic ocese of Otukpo.”
