Cattle, foodstuff dealers issue new threat

The Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria (AUFCDN) says it will withdraw its services nationwide if the Federal Government fails to respond to its demands within seven days over the Shasa and #EndSARS crises.

AUFCDN, an affiliation of Nigeria Labour Congress, is demanding protection of its members, payment of N475bn compensation for lives of members and properties lost during the #EndSARS protest and the Shasa market chaos.

Its Secretary-General, Ahmed Alarama, at a press conference in Abuja yesterday, said the union had notified President Muhammadu Buhari and the security agencies over its planned actions.
