Chef Naira-Victor: Benue chef aims to set new cooking marathon record

Tartenger Victor, a renowned chef from Benue State, is on track to shatter the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, aiming for an impressive 135 hours.

This culinary feat, which began on February 27, at the Tiger Bar in Makurdi, has caught not just the attention of the state but the entire nation.

IDOMA VOICE reports that as of now, the dedicated chef is nearing his 80th hour in this ambitious endeavor.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the story behind the chef. Tartenger Victor, also known as Chef Naira, is described as a child of grace, the son of a mother whose prayers have propelled him to new heights.

Dubbed the “Naira-victor Cook-a-thon,” this event symbolizes a rising tide of ambition among the youth of Benue, who are determined to dream big and pursue their aspirations with unwavering courage.

They choose not the easy route, but the challenging path of righteousness.

In a statement, the young chef expressed his intention to use this platform to shed light on the plight of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the state, aiming to draw global attention to their needs.

Irish chef Alan Fisher, owner and chef of a renowned restaurant in Japan, is the current holder cooking marathon record with time of 119 hours and 57 minutes, setting a new Guinness World Record in the process.

Stay tuned for updates on Tartenger Victor’s groundbreaking cooking marathon, as he aims to make history and inspire a new generation of culinary enthusiasts.
