The Tiger Bar in Makurdi is currently overflowing with enthusiastic residents of Benue State who have gathered to support Chef Tartenger Victor, also known as Chef Naira Victor, in his quest to set a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
Surpassing the previous record held by Irish chef Alan Fisher at 119 hours and 57 minutes, Chef Naira-Victor has achieved an incredible 127 hours and still counting as of Sunday, March 3, IDOMA VOICE reports.
The venue is buzzing with excitement as residents of the state, including the state governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, four assembly speakers, and various entertainers, have earlier visited cheer on the young chef towards victory.
At 2 pm on Sunday, the Tiger Bar is packed to its capacity, with dancers and drummers adding to the lively atmosphere, all rallying behind Chef Naira Victor in this historic endeavor.
