Chelsea announce Thomas Tuchel’s replacement

Chelsea have announced a replacement for Thomas Tuchel.
Recall that Tuchel was fired Wednesday morning after a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in a Champions League game on Tuesday evening.
In the interim, Chelsea said in a statement that the coaching staff will take charge of the team for training pending when a new coach is appointed.

The statement said, “Chelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach.

“There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made.”
