Romelu Lukaku’s season at Chelsea didn’t go as planned, as the club’s record striker has re-joined former club Inter Milan.
Signed up for £97.5m, Lukaku was expected to be the missing piece at Chelsea.
However, the Belgian failed to make the mark at Chelsea and has moved to Inter Milan on a season-long loan deal.
Top journalist Matt Law has revealed that Chelsea could target Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
“It’s an interesting one to keep a little eye on (Osimhen to Chelsea). A person who has a knowledge of Italian football and of Napoli said they still need money,” Law said.
“I don’t know whether that means there could be something to do there [with Osimhen]. It’s probably not worth fully dismissing that Chelsea might have a go at that.”
Osimhen scored 18 goals in 32 appearances for Napoli last season across all competitions, and his reputation has continued to grow.
