Chinmark: Marksman Ijomah changes hotel’s name to Bridge Suites after disappearing from Nigeria
Fresh facts have continued to emerge over the circumstances surrounding the collapse of a ponzi scheme called Chinmark Group.
The company, owned by Marksman Ijomah, defrauded people of their billions, fled overseas.
Ijomah had collected billions from investors, promising them that he would give them a certain percentage as Return of Investment.
The promise made many Nigerians to pump in their billions to Ijomah and he group while the former showcased his wealth on social media.
However, in December 2021, the Security Exchange Commission issued a disclaimer and warned investors against giving Marksman Ijomah their hard-earned money.
The development unsettled Ijomah and his ponzi scheme and many people could no longer access their funds.
Ijomah had claimed he was into hospitality, logistics, farming and health.
When it became clear that Nigerians were coming for him, Marksman Ijomah fled Nigerians with investors’ billions.
Joy Iziengbe Osamwonyi, in a Facebook post said the Chinmark Hotel in Enugu has been renamed Bridge Suites.
