The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, condemns the brutal killing of Mr Adah Echobu Chris by gunmen suspected to be armed robbers on Sunday night.
Adah, a Senior Lecturer at Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, was reportedly killed along Eke/Ugbokolo expressway, in Okpokwu LGA.
Senator Moro is pained by the brutal killing and says it’s one too many. He decries the spate of killings in Benue South and calls for an end to the alien culture.
The Senator charges security agents to go after the killers of the lecturer and bring them to book. He appeals to aggrieved youths to remain calm and allow law enforcement agents to go after and apprehend the killers.
He deeply sympathizes with the family of the deceased and the Benue Polythechnic community over the sad incident and assures them that Adah will not die in vain. He says he remains committed to working with the relevant authorities to stem the tide of insecurity in Okpokwu and Benue South at large.
