Chris Morgan pens moving tribute to Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo on his birthday

Worship General and head-honcho of Apples of Gold Records, Chris Morgan has paid a glowing tribute to the senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo.
The ace music minister in a touching eulogy to the fiery preacher recalled how he gave him (Morgan) platform many years back in London to minister.
Morgan, who also headlines the Worship Nation Music Ministry, described the preacher as a hero who deserves long live.

The first man to take me across the shores of Nigeria.Few years ago in Abeokuta @bishop Achudumes victory life bible church, my path crossed with this patriarch, A great HERO OF FAITH.
I was still trekking singing Arabaribitieverywhere I was invited, jumping from one Okada to another, from one bus top to connect another, my path was dark my faith was failing me, but after the encounter God lifted me from the ground.
I appreciate bishop Achudume who gave me his platform & shared so much about me with him. It was a morning service while I was ministering, Pastor ASHIMOLOWO worked in and for that moment couldn’t hold back his tears as he wept uncontrably before God in worship. When he came up to take the mic…..
He immediately announced that Chris Morgan will be with me this year in London, England at The Gathering Of Champions…the crowd went crazy and sp happy for me. I felt so honored, he sponsored my crew my wife & I to London England for the first time. I bought my first car immediately I came back, God graduated me spiritually & physically to another level.
Today I celebrate this grace for the great impact & influence he had in my life. A man who believed so much in me when i was still trekking, went back to London & published me everywhere on TV.
