An Abuja based businessman, philanthropist and Founder of Peter Adejoh Foundation, Dr. Peter Adejoh, Thursday doled out rice and other items to Benue youths in celebration of this year’s Christmas.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Peter Adejoh Foundation in Makurdi, the Chairman of Ogbadibo local government, Hon. David Abah Umoru disclosed that the foundation is giving out one truck of 25kg bag of rice, one truck of 10kg, two trucks of 5kg and one truck of indomie noodles to Benue youths.
He revealed that the distribution of food items in Makurdi by the foundation was just the beginning as the distribution for Benue South shall take place on December 27th, 2022.
He commended the people of Benue North East and North West senatorial districts for embracing the foundation and added that the foundation has a plan of reaching out to everyone.
He charged the people of the state to pray for the peaceful co-existence of the state as they celebrate the birth of christ.
Responding, the Chairman of Apa local government, Hon. Amali Victoria appreciated Dr. Adejoh for the gesture and called on other spirited individuals to emulate the philanthropist.
The President of Benue Youth Forum, BYF, Terrence Kuanum Commend Adejoh for reaching out to the youths first.
He described Adejoh as a bridge between the youths and the ruling class.
He disclosed that Adejoh has extended a lot of gestures to Benue youths, beginning with the start-up capital he gave to youths earlier this year.
Terrence disclosed that Dr. Adejoh is currently building a 20-bed hospital in his community and has chosen a season of giving to further extend his gesture to Tivland.
The youth leader further called on the youths of the state to peaceful and shun acts of violence during and after the yuletide season.
