Nigeria’s Elizabeth Oshoba on Sunday evening grabbed a silver medal in Boxing women’s featherweight at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The Nigerian boxer lost all five rounds to Northern Ireland’s Michaela Walsh at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham.
Oshoba is the only Nigerian boxer in the final of the boxing event at Games.
Enroute final, Oshoba defeated Australia’s Tina Rahimi 4-1 in the semifinals.
