The PDP flag bearer for the Benue South Senatorial zone and Former Minister of Interior Comrade Abba Moro said development of the Zone remains his utmost priority in seeking election into the red chambers for purposeful representation.
The Benue South Senatorial Contender Comrade Abba Moro stated this during visits to the People of Ohimini Local Government area in continuation of the ward to ward campaign tour by the Benue South PDP Campaign team led by him and the Deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly and PDP flag bearer for Otukpo-Ohimini House of Representatives seat Engineer Egli Johnson Ahubi.
Comrade Moro said for him to perform effectively when elected into the red chambers, a robust synergy with the Presidency and the State Government was needed hence his continuous appeal to the people to vote for all the PDP candidates starting from the presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Governor Samuel Ortom, himself, Engineer Egli Ahubi and all other candidates of the Party for quality representation
The Benue South Senatorial PDP candidate Comrade Abba Moro pledged to lobby the first giant developmental project to the council ward with the highest vote for PDP when elected to the National Assembly and advised the people not be deceived but remain wise in voting all the PDP candidates for greater benefits.
Also speaking, Deputy Speaker, Benue State House of Assembly and the PDP flag bearer for Otukpo-Ohimini House of Representatives seat Engineer Egli Johnson Ahubi said it was rather unfortunate that most of the people bringing strange political parties to the Idoma Nation today were among the highest beneficiaries of PDP in the zone and urged the people not to be deceived in following desperate politicians that have taken politics to the negative dimension of a “do or die affair”.
Engineer Ahubi who stressed the need for development of the land to be placed far and above political interest or personal gains said he was out for a progressive politics of practical performance not empty promises, assuring the people of maximium dividends of democracy when elected into the House of Representatives, Samuel Ortom re-elected as Governor of the State, Comrade Abba Moro voted to the Senate as well as all PDP candidates in the upcoming general elections.
In his comment, House of Representatives Member for Otukpo-Ohimini Chief Ezekiel Adaji, and that of House of Assembly Member for Ohimini Christopher Adaji both said the good names and track records of comrade Abba Moro and Engineer Egli Johnson Ahubi have made their campaign very easy saying PDP has one hundred percent support of the people of Ohimini for the needed victory.
On their parts Chairman of Ohimini Local Government Council Barr. Adakole Abutu, Former Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly Sule Audu, Erick Adokwu, Chiefs Isaac Ochekiliye, Mike Iduma, and Ann Ode, all said they believed in the pedigree of Governor Samuel Ortom, Comrade Abba Moro, Engineer Egli Ahubi and all PDP candidates in the upcoming general elections and assured them of overwhelming victory in the area.
Correspondent reports that Comrade Abba Moro and Engineer Egli Ahubi in company of their entourage on arrival at each Council Ward maintained their homage on the traditional rulers where they received royal blessings as well as award of automatic scholarships to numbers of less privileged students in some of the ten Council wards visited in Ohimini local Government area .
It was further gathered that the ward to ward campaign tour of Ohimini witnessed massive defection of people from the APC, APGA, SDP among other parties to the People’s Democratic Party PDP.
