Confusion over Kaduna Tribunal Judgement

There are conflicting media reports over the judgement of the Kaduna Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Isah Mohammed Ashiru, had approached the court to challenge the election of Uba Sani of the APC in the last guber poll.
In a judgement delivered via Zoom on Thursday, the judges dismissed the petition by Gov Uba to throw Ashiru’s petition.

However, there are conflicting reports in the media on the outcome of the judgement.
While a section claimed Gov Uba has been sacked and a fresh election has been ordered in seven wards, others claimed the court threw out Ashiru’s case.
Another section said the tribunal was yet to give its verdict as at 3:40pm on Thursday.
