Cononavirus: Those who made contact with Susan Okpe yet to show any symptom after 13 days – Abounu

The Deputy Governor of Benue State, Engr. Benson Abounu, has declared that the 23 persons who have quarantined after making contacts with Susan Okpe, the alleged cononavirus case in the state are yet to show any symptoms of the disease, after 13 days.

The deputy governor made thus disclosure while giving update on the development on Radio Benue.

He said, “I am very happy to announce to you here that the 23 that were quarantined in that hospital, the Grace Cottage hospital where the index case reported herself for consultation., since 13 days ago and by Monday 13/4/2020, we will look into them to see if any one of them has developed any symptom, otherwise, we’ll release them to the public. Most of the people that attended to her (index case) took precautions. I am not sure if we are likely to get anyone of them exhibiting the symptoms.”
