Benue State 2023 governorship aspirant, Mr Terver Akase extends warm congratulations to the State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Titus Uba on his emergence as consensus guber candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from the Tiv speaking area of the State.
He describes the emergence of the Speaker in a peaceful stakeholders’ process as the interest of the party in the 14 local government areas of Tiv land which must be placed above personal ambitions.
The former Chief Press Secretary to the Governor acknowledges that all aspirants for the governorship seat showed passion towards moving the State to greater heights but since only one person could fly the PDP flag, he is willing to support the candidate chosen by the party.
Mr Akase reaffirms his confidence in the process of arriving at a guber candidate for the party and states his readiness to team up with other party faithful for its victory in next year’s polls.
He wishes the Speaker and guber hopeful, Rt Hon Uba the very best in the next phase of electioneering.
